He wrote Fantastical Nature, a family fantasy novella for his son, Michael, whose wonder never fails to remind him that creativity is the truest kind of magic. His Weird Western, The God in the Dirt, explores the haunted borderlands of mythic horror, surreal fantasy, and gunslinger theater. The Echo of It All is his supernatural horror novel set in 1976 New Orleans that explores immortality, identity, and what remains after everything else has become an echo.

In the Crescent City, stories wander in through open windows and stay for tea.
